Do I have to talk to it?
No. Typing works exactly the same way — the voice button is a shortcut, not the interface. Plenty of people never touch it.
What if it files something wrong?
Tap the entry and change it. It also learns: tell it once that AT&T is Utilities and it never asks again. When a sentence is genuinely ambiguous it asks a single question rather than guessing.
What happens when the trial ends?
Nothing is deleted. You can still sign in, export everything as CSV, and pick up where you left off if you subscribe later.
Is there an iPhone or Android app?
Tidy installs to your home screen straight from the browser today — full screen, its own icon, and it stays signed in. Native App Store and Play Store builds are on the way.
Where does my data live, and who can see it?
In Tidy's database, behind your password, and only ever queried for your own account. Uploaded photos are re-encoded to strip their metadata, including location. Export it or delete it whenever you like.
What is the AI actually doing?
Reading the sentence you wrote and deciding what kind of thing it was and where it belongs. When you ask a question, it chooses which lookup to run — and the lookup itself is ordinary code against your own rows, so the figure you see is the real one.
Does it work offline?
The app opens instantly whether you have signal or not, and tells you plainly when you are offline. Capturing something new needs a connection.
